FLWR Hair Color Powder + Rituals are a unique blend of flowers, leaves, roots, seeds + more to create pure, natural hair color from plants.
Hollyhock Noir is a soft raven black hair color with a simple blend of leaves, flowers & herbs to create a variety of darkest brunette to black tones. It is best to use on already dark hair, as lighter colors will pull green or muddy. If your hair is dark brunette and you wish to go soft black, apply once. If you have dark hair and want intense black you may have to apply the color twice to create the intended depth. Flower Hair Color Powder *is* a commitment, please keep this in mind when deciding which color tone to use. And as always, you'll also receive immense shine, softness and strength for your ends with this color powder.
As with all FLWR Hair Color Powder, they cannot lighten, lift or fully cover grey hair. For best results, use our Roots & Stone Clay Cleanser prior to application to remove unwanted minerals as this can cause the color to show "dingy."
*If you purchase our Blending Set with Hollyhock, please DO NOT use the Flower Gems or Tonics in the blend as it is not needed for dye release. Also use COOL or room temperature water or cooled rinse only in place of warm or hot water. Heat can harm the dye molecules in this blend. Once blended, Use Immediately.

Ingredients: organic indigo, hollyhock, rose, organic elderflower, organic slippery elm
Use: Mix with warm water and apply to freshly cleansed hair (we highly recommend pairing with our Roots & Stone Clay Cleanser to remove buildup and properly prep the hair), no rinse or conditioner for prep. Apply root to end, or roots for touch up. Wrap up to keep color hydrated by covering with a shower cap or similar and then cover with a wrap like a towel or turban. Rinse after 1-3+ hours. The longer the time, the deeper the stain. Rinse well and follow with a Petal Rinse of choice or an Orchard Tonic of choice. Hair may feel dry; this is actually the strengthening power of the plants! You may add a drizzle of honey to your rinse for added moisture or use a Garden Nectar afterwards.
As with any new haircare or color product, we highly suggest performing a patch test. Just because something comes straight from nature does not mean it may not cause a reaction. To perform a patch test, mix a tiny amount of FLWR Hair Color Powder with water to create a paste. Apply to inner arm and wipe off after 5-10 minutes. Wait 24 hours to see if a reaction occurs. Also, those with a G6DP Deficiency should avoid all FLWR Hair Color Powders, specifically those containing leaves from henna as an adverse reaction may occur.
